The whole game revolves around the Global Multiplier and two Flip mechanics. Single Flip targets one type of low-paying symbol, Mass Flip attacks them all at once, and both can increase the multiplier by up to 100x. In the base game that multiplier resets every spin, while the bonuses allow it to keep growing.

Basics

The 5×4 setup itself is deliberately straightforward. The lower-paying symbols are the usual card ranks, while the premium side is filled with brass knuckles, crowbars, lighters, Molotov cocktails and other things that probably will not improve the neighborhood.

The regular Wild substitutes for all paying symbols. It becomes particularly useful when Flip mechanics start turning additional symbols wild, allowing a fairly ordinary 20-payline grid to suddenly contain a lot more help than it did a second earlier.

A Global Multiplier sits above the reels and applies to every win. Each base-game spin begins at 1x, and Flip symbols can increase it before wins are calculated. The catch is that it resets back to 1x once a new base-game spin begins, so the really serious multiplier building is saved for the bonuses.

Symbols and features

There are two main Flip symbols: Single Flip and Mass Flip.

A Single Flip picks one of the low-paying symbol types and turns every copy of that symbol currently visible into a Wild. Up to 5 Single Flips can appear on the same spin, each potentially targeting a different low-paying symbol. Each Flip can also carry a multiplier ranging as high as 100x, which is added to the Global Multiplier.

The Mass Flip is the more violent version. Only one can appear on a spin, but instead of picking one symbol type, it turns all low-paying symbols on the grid into Wilds in one go. It also contributes its own multiplier to the Global Multiplier.

This is where Blood Rebels gets most of its personality. A quiet-looking grid can suddenly be covered in Wilds before the payout is even calculated, and a strong multiplier on top can make the transformation matter considerably more. The mechanic is simple enough to understand immediately, but dramatic enough that you actually notice when it fires.

Bonuses

Blood Rebels has two Free Spins modes.

Landing 3 Scatters triggers 8 Breaking Curfew Free Spins, while 4 Scatters award 10 spins. The big change is that the Global Multiplier no longer resets after every spin. Any increases earned through Flip symbols remain active for the rest of the bonus, allowing the value to grow as the round continues. Each additional Scatter during the bonus gives 1 extra Free Spin.

Breaking Curfew already works well because the multiplier finally gets enough time to develop. A few early Flip hits can make everything arriving later considerably more valuable instead of watching a nice multiplier disappear immediately after one base-game spin.

Landing 5 Scatters triggers 10 Total Anarchy Free Spins. The persistent Global Multiplier remains, but regular Wilds that land during the bonus now become Sticky Wilds and stay in position until the feature ends. Flip-created Wilds do not become sticky. Extra Scatters again award 1 additional spin each.

Total Anarchy is clearly the stronger bonus. The multiplier can keep climbing while naturally landed Wilds slowly take over parts of the grid, so the later spins can look completely different from the opening ones. It gives the bonus exactly the kind of escalating mess the name promises.
