Cocks & Robbers turns an innocent little farm into something much closer to organised crime. The fox and wolf have apparently taken over the barn, pigs and sheep are getting shaken down, and the whole place looks like someone mixed a children’s storybook with a low-budget gangster movie. Red Tiger keeps the joke going without overdoing it, so the setting ends up silly in a genuinely likeable way rather than just throwing sunglasses on farm animals and calling it a day.
The two robber wilds are also more than decoration. Wild Fox collects Ducks and Turkeys for instant prizes, while Wild Wolf expands across an entire reel, collects Pigs and Lambs and can drag the game into a chain of respins as he moves across the grid. Throw in the Full House modifier and two different bonus rounds, and there is surprisingly plenty happening behind the goofy farm theme.
Cocks & Robbers uses 6 reels, 3 rows and 729 ways to win. Matching symbols pay on adjacent reels from left to right, while the two wild characters appear on reels 2–5 and bring their own collection features. The game leans heavily into smaller, frequent hits rather than long dry stretches, with the collectors providing most of the potential for anything significantly larger.
The highest RTP is 96.19%, with 95.15%, 93.18% and 91.19% versions also listed. Volatility is low and the hit frequency is unusually high at 58.78%, while the maximum win reaches 11,454x the bet. Bets range from 0.10 to 500. Those numbers make this much calmer than the average modern feature-heavy slot, even if the wolf can still turn one lucky respin chain into something considerably less peaceful.
Wild Fox substitutes for paying symbols and collects every Duck and Turkey visible on the grid. Collecting at least five awards an additional prize, with the collection ladder ranging from 3x up to 3,000x the bet. If Wild Wolf appears at the same time, three extra Ducks and Turkeys are added to the Fox count.
Wild Wolf takes a more entertaining route. He expands to cover an entire reel, collects Pigs and Lambs and awards a prize from 10x up to 10,000x when enough are gathered. Any win with the wolf present triggers a respin, after which he moves one reel to the left. From reel 2 he jumps back to reel 5, and the chase continues for as long as new wins keep landing. The accumulated collection pays once the chain finally stops.
The Full House modifier can activate on any regular spin and adds a random number of one animal symbol to the grid: Pig, Lamb, Duck or Turkey.
On its own that is fairly basic, but the mechanic becomes much more useful when one of the collectors is already on screen. A sudden flock of Ducks can feed the Fox, while extra Pigs or Lambs can push the Wolf much further up his prize ladder.
3 Scatters award 10 Barn Spins, with a Wild Fox guaranteed on every spin. Extra Scatters add more spins, and landing three together upgrades all remaining spins into Super Spins.
4 Scatters trigger 10 Super Spins directly. Wild Fox remains guaranteed, while Wild Wolf is also added whenever one is not already active. In both bonus modes the wolf can be held between spins rather than using his normal respin movement, allowing the Pig and Lamb collection to keep building until it pays.
The jump from Barn Spins to Super Spins is substantial because both collection systems can now work side by side on every round.
The feature menu offers two cheap single-spin modifiers and two direct entries into the main bonuses.
The 3x and 10x options are refreshingly cheap compared with traditional bonus buys, although they only buy one enhanced spin. Super Spins is the opposite end of the menu: expensive, but both robbers are finally invited to the same job.
Cocks & Robbers is much better mechanically than its ridiculous farm-gangster theme initially suggests. The Fox is a straightforward collector, but the Wolf is the feature that gives the game its own identity. Watching him fill a reel, collect animals and then shuffle left through a respin chain is simple to understand but genuinely fun, especially when Full House suddenly dumps exactly the symbols you need onto the grid. The two bonus levels also give the mechanics a sensible progression instead of simply repeating the base game.
The low volatility will be the dividing line. A 58.78% hit frequency means plenty is happening, but many of those hits are small and the game rarely feels genuinely dangerous until the collectors line up properly. Super Spins is also very expensive at 320x. Still, this is a charmingly stupid theme built around a surprisingly clever wolf mechanic, and sometimes that is more than enough.
