Six Feet Under - Demo & Slot Review

Six Feet Under uses a 6×6 grid with up to 46,656 ways to win and cascading symbols. At the start of a normal round, much of the lower half is covered by dirt. Wins remove symbols and bring new ones down, while Bombs can destroy both symbols and dirt to uncover whatever is buried underneath. As more positions become usable, the number of active winning ways grows with the grid.

The highest RTP is 96.05%, with 94.02% and 92.07% versions also available. Hit frequency is 21.90%, volatility is extreme and the maximum win reaches 30,000x the bet. Stakes range from 0.20 to 100. The natural Free Spins feature is listed at roughly 1 in 233 spins, so this is very much another Nolimit game where the long-term potential comes with some seriously unforgiving maths.

Bombs and Gems

Six different Bombs can appear beneath the dirt, each clearing the grid in its own pattern. Smaller Bombs hit compact areas, while stronger ones can wipe several rows, columns or a much larger section around themselves.

Buried Gems carry base values from 1x to 1,000x. Their values increase by their original amount with every new cascade, so a 10x Gem becomes 20x, then 30x and so on if the chain keeps going. The Gem only pays once the dirt covering it is actually removed.

The Shovel can add and improve Gems on its own reel, while the Toolbox can affect Gems across the grid. This makes long cascade sequences especially useful, because the prizes below the surface can keep improving before a Bomb finally reaches them.

The Descent

Uncovering 3 Scatters triggers The Descent. The bonus begins on a cleared grid, but every new drop brings more sticky dirt into play. Once a dirt position appears, it stays for the remainder of the feature.

The round continues until dirt has taken over the entire grid. Bombs are therefore doing two jobs at once: clearing space so the feature can survive and uncovering Gems for prizes. Triggering the bonus with more than the minimum number of Scatters improves the available Gem pool by removing some of the lower values.

After the feature ends, Extra Spin can occasionally offer one more paid attempt while preserving relevant dirt and Scatters from the previous state. The price depends on the situation and is only offered when it does not exceed the win already collected.

Feature Buy

Six Feet Under has the kind of purchase menu you would expect from modern Nolimit City, ranging from small tweaks to one particularly ridiculous 3,000x spin.

• Bonus Booster costs 3x the bet and guarantees a Bonus Scatter beneath the dirt.
• Pure Spin costs 8x and allows only Gems worth at least 5x.
• Purer Spin costs 80x and raises the minimum Gem value to 50x.
• Greedy Spin costs 30x and fills every dirt position with a Gem.
• Greedier Spin costs 300x and fills every dirt position with Gems worth at least 50x.
• Greediest Spin costs 3,000x and fills every dirt position with 1,000x Gems.
• The Descent with 3 Scatters costs 60x the bet.
• The Descent with 5 Scatters costs 250x.
• The Descent with 6 Scatters costs 600x.
• The Descent with 8 Scatters costs 1,900x.
• Lucky Draw costs 260x, while Lucky Draw 2 costs 2,965x, using different Gem-value setups.

There is an absurd amount of choice here, especially at the expensive end. More importantly, even the strongest options still depend on Bombs actually uncovering the valuable Gems, so paying more does not remove the central risk.
