3 Piggies of Bank gives Yggdrasil its own spin on the Three Little Pigs, except this time nobody seems particularly worried about building houses. The pigs have moved into banking, the wolf has somehow ended up on the coins, and a sunny storybook valley sits behind three little banks marked Collect, Double and Mystery. Apparently surviving the big bad wolf was only step one – next came financial independence.
The setup is pretty gentle compared with many modern Yggdrasil releases. Expanding multiplier Wilds give the base game a little life, Free Spins keep the same mechanics rolling, and most of the real action sits inside the Lock’em & Load’em Bonus, where three different Bank Features put their own twist on the familiar Hold & Win formula.
3 Piggies of Bank uses 5 reels, 3 rows and 25 fixed paylines. The highest RTP is 96.00%, with 94.00%, 92.00% and 90.50% versions also available. Volatility is low, hit frequency sits at 25.2%, and the maximum win reaches 5,625x the bet. Stakes range from 0.10 to 20.
The Mamma Pig Wild can expand across two or three positions while upgrading its multiplier from 1x to as much as 3x. Three Scatters unlock Free Spins, while Wolf Coins and Piggie Coins lead into Lock’em & Load’em with Collect, Double or Mystery active. It is not an overloaded setup, but the three different Bank modes give the coin bonus a bit more personality than the standard fill the grid routine.
Mamma Pig is the Wild and can land on every reel. She starts as a regular 1x Wild, but can randomly expand to cover 2 rows with a 2x multiplier or the full 3-row reel with a 3x multiplier. It is a small mechanic, but one of those full-reel pigs landing in the right spot can suddenly make an otherwise sleepy base-game spin worth watching.
Landing Scatters on reels 1, 3 and 5 awards 10 Free Spins. The bonus keeps the same Wild and Coin mechanics as the base game, and another 3 Scatters adds 10 more spins. There is no massive transformation here, so Free Spins feel more like extra time with the existing mechanics than a completely new feature.
Landing at least 6 Wolf Coins and 1 Piggie Coin triggers the Lock’em & Load’em Bonus, although individual Piggie Coins can also kick it off randomly. The round begins with Wolf Coins carrying 1x–10x values, followed by 5 respins. New Coins stay on the grid and reset the respin counter back to five.
Which Piggie Coin triggers the bonus decides the active Bank Feature. Collect gives each new Collect Coin the combined value of the other Coins already in view. Double doubles every Coin value on the grid whenever a Double Coin lands, while Mystery reveals a value between 15x and 150x. Mini, Minor and Major Prize Coins are worth 15x, 50x and 200x, and filling all 15 positions adds the 1,000x Grand.
The three versions are not wildly complicated, but they do make a difference. Double is especially fun once there is already a decent pile of Coins sitting around – suddenly one more pig can do a lot more damage than its cute little face suggests.
There are 5 direct Lock’em & Load’em buys, letting you choose a specific Bank or leave some of the decision to the game.
The prices climb pretty quickly, but at least the options actually change how the bonus works instead of selling five slightly different versions of the same thing.
3 Piggies of Bank is easygoing, cheerful and very easy to understand. The Three Little Pigs theme has been used plenty of times before, but turning the trio into bankers gives it enough of a twist to avoid feeling completely recycled.
The Lock’em & Load’em bonus is comfortably the strongest part. Collect, Double and Mystery are simple ideas, but they give the usual Sticky Coin setup some variety, and Double in particular can get fun when the board is already filling up. Free Spins are less exciting and mostly feel like an extension of the base game.
Low volatility and a 5,625x max win also make this one much calmer than Yggdrasil’s wilder releases.
