Bamboo Pandits - Demo & Slot Review

The base game uses 5 reels, 5 rows and 35 fixed paylines, with wins formed from left to right. Wilds substitute for regular paying symbols, while Rocket, Dumpling and Smokebomb Loot symbols feed the three Pandits. Before any spin, Gust of Wind can also appear and drop either 4–7 Loot symbols or 2–5 Bonus symbols onto the grid.

The preferred RTP is 96%, with 94%, 92% and 90% versions also available. Volatility is high, the reported hit frequency is around 24.8% and the maximum win reaches 10,000x the bet. Bets range from 0.20 to 100. The base game can be fairly patient between features, but once one Pandit activates, every feature ends with a respin and can potentially set up the next one.

Three Pandits and Respins

Each Pandit reacts to its own Loot symbol. The Wild Pandit collects Dumplings and can jump onto the grid as a Big Wild that moves and changes size between respins. It can grow from 2×2 all the way to 5×5 in the base game and even 6×6 during the bonus.

The Multiplier Pandit collects Rockets and places multipliers on random positions. Existing position multipliers can also be doubled, and if several contribute to the same win, their values are added together. If a multiplier lands on the Big Wild, it becomes part of the Wild’s own multiplier.

The Mystery Pandit collects Smokebombs and adds Mystery symbols before the respin. If a Mystery lands on an already marked position, the effect can spread further across neighbouring spaces before all Mystery symbols reveal the same paying symbol. When several Pandits activate together, they resolve in the order Wild, Multiplier and Mystery.

Bonus Game

Landing 3 or more Bonus symbols opens the feature and moves play onto a larger 6×6 grid with 44 paylines. The round starts with at least 5 Bonus Spins, but before they begin you spin a special wheel.

Three triggering symbols give one wheel spin, while every additional Scatter adds another. Each wheel result either activates one Pandit for the entire feature or awards 2–5 extra spins. Activated Pandits remain persistent, so collecting two or three of them can make later respins much stronger.

Landing another 3 Bonus symbols during the round awards another Pandit or 2–5 additional spins. This gives the bonus a nice snowball effect: it can disappear quickly if the spin count dries up, or gradually turn into complete panda chaos as more modifiers join in.

X-iter

ELK’s X-iter menu offers five ways to speed things up, from increased bonus odds to the fully loaded version.

• Bonus Hunt costs 2.5x the bet per spin and gives more than 3x the normal chance of triggering the bonus.
• Mega Bonus Hunt costs 5x the bet per spin and increases the chance by more than 6x.
• Lucky Wind costs 25x the bet and guarantees a Gust of Wind.
• Bonus costs 100x the bet and opens the Bonus Game directly.
• Maxed Bonus costs 250x the bet and starts the stronger version with all three Pandits active.

The 250x option is naturally the most exciting, but the cheaper modes fit the game well too because even one Pandit can completely change the next respin.
