Epic SixSixSix brings Balthazar and Beelzebub back for another deal with the devil, this time as a stronger version of Hacksaw Gaming’s 2024 SixSixSix. The same scratched black-and-white cartoon style returns with turquoise highlights, crooked demons and a 5×4 grid that looks deliberately old-fashioned. Anyone familiar with the original will immediately recognise the setup, because the Epic treatment focuses more on increasing the feature potential than rebuilding the game from scratch.
Wicked Wheels are still the entire reason to be here. Blue wheels can add or multiply the current multiplier, open one of three Free Spins features or simply award the 20,666x maximum win on the spot. Red wheels bring much stronger values, reaching 500x on the additive side and x20 on the multiplicative side. The original formula remains very visible, but the higher ceiling and expanded feature menu give the return trip noticeably more bite.
Epic SixSixSix uses 5 reels, 4 rows and 14 fixed paylines, with matching symbols paying from left to right starting from reel 1. There are no cascades or traditional wilds. Instead, the important symbols are blue and red 6s, which can appear on reels 1, 3 and 5 and activate the Wicked Wheels sitting behind them. If several wheels trigger together, their results are processed from left to right.
The highest RTP is 96.27%, with 94.26% and 92.23% versions also available. Volatility is extremely high, hit frequency is 17.14% and the maximum win reaches 20,666x the bet. Stakes start from 0.10 and can reach 45 outside restricted markets. Regular line wins are deliberately modest, so most of the game’s personality and serious potential sit inside the Wicked Wheels rather than the normal paytable.
Blue 6 symbols can activate Blue Wicked Wheels on reels 1, 3 and 5. Each wheel can award the maximum win, an adding multiplier between 5x and 100x, a multiplying multiplier from x2 to x10, or a 6 that triggers Free Spins.
The Red Wicked Wheels are the stronger version. Their adding multipliers reach 500x, while multiplying values go as high as x20. Red wheels do not normally appear in the base game and become increasingly important as you move through the bonus levels.
The number of Wicked Wheels landing on the 6 result determines which 10-spin feature you receive.
Speak of the Devil requires one 6. Both blue and red wheels appear more frequently during the 10 Free Spins.
Let Hell Break Loose! requires two 6s at once. Blue wheels disappear completely, leaving only the more valuable Red Wicked Wheels.
What the Hell requires three 6s simultaneously. You again receive 10 Free Spins, but now at least one Red Wicked Wheel is guaranteed on every spin. This is where the wheel mechanic gets its strongest setup.
Before Speak of the Devil or Let Hell Break Loose! begins, you can accept a Deal with the Devil. The Deal Wheel contains 5, 8, 12, 16 or 20 Free Spins plus a 6 symbol.
Landing a number replaces your original 10 spins with that amount, so the deal can make the bonus better or worse. Landing the 6 upgrades the entire feature by one level. Speak of the Devil becomes Let Hell Break Loose!, while Let Hell Break Loose! becomes What the Hell. If the first deal upgrades your feature, you can make another deal at the new level.
Epic SixSixSix has one of the broader purchase menus in the series, ranging from boosted single spins to direct access to the strongest bonus.
The menu gets expensive very quickly, but at least each step clearly strengthens the same Wicked Wheel mechanic rather than adding unrelated side features.
Epic SixSixSix is a good example of an Epic version that knows which part of the original game was worth keeping. The Wicked Wheels were already the reason to play SixSixSix, and stronger Red Wheels, three clearly different bonus levels and the Deal with the Devil gamble give that mechanic more room to develop. What the Hell is especially strong conceptually, because guaranteeing a Red Wheel on every spin makes the top bonus genuinely feel different rather than simply giving it bigger numbers.
The base game is still the obvious weakness. Ordinary line wins are not particularly interesting, and without a 6 symbol there is very little to watch beyond the dark cartoon presentation. The jump from 16,666x in the original to 20,666x is also fairly modest for something carrying the Epic label. Even so, the wheel system remains excellent, the bonus progression works and the expanded feature menu gives the sequel enough extra weight to earn the upgrade.
