Olympus has had a strange week. In Holy Moo! Extreme Power, Play’n GO takes Greek mythology and replaces the usual serious gods with divine cows, because apparently Zeus did need another rebrand after all. The result is a bright, silly and very Play’n GO style grid slot where Moo-Ighty Zeus watches over the action like he is one bad spin away from kicking over the temple.
The theme is easily the thing you remember first. Instead of another dramatic Zeus slot with marble, lightning and angry staring, this one goes for full bovine mythology. It is cartoonish, weird and clearly not trying to look cool in the traditional way. That helps, because the slot at least has a face of its own, even if that face is currently chewing grass on Moolympus.
Holy Moo! Extreme Power is played on a 6×6 grid with Cluster Pays. Wins form when at least 5 matching symbols connect horizontally and/or vertically anywhere on the grid. Winning symbols disappear, new symbols drop into the empty spaces, and the sequence continues for as long as new wins keep forming.
The main RTP is 96.20%, with lower versions also listed at 94.20%, 91.20%, 87.20% and 84.20%. Volatility is high, and the hit frequency is around 31.5%. The bet range is 0.10–100€, and the maximum win is 4,000x the bet.
The game is built around winning positions turning into Bovine Frames. If a Collector lands before those frames disappear, the framed spots can become cash prizes. The Bovine Path then unlocks stronger Collector types, while Free Spins and Olympian Spins give the system more room to play out.
Holy Moo! Extreme Power is not about one huge bonus moment dropping out of nowhere. It is more about slowly unlocking better Collector behavior and hoping those Collectors arrive when the grid has enough framed positions waiting.
That gives the game a clear loop. Wins create frames, frames need Collectors, Collectors move the Bovine Path forward. It is easy to understand, but it can also feel like the game is warming up for quite a while before the better parts finally show up.
Bovine Frames appear on positions involved in winning clusters. If no Collector lands during the sequence, those frames vanish before the next paid spin. If a Collector lands while frames are active, Bovine Moo-Ment triggers and the framed spots turn into cash prizes worth 0.5x–10x the bet.
Collector symbols gather those cash values. If more than one Collector appears, each Collector can collect the same visible values separately, which is where the feature can start to feel useful. Every Collector activation also advances the Bovine Path, unlocking stronger Collector types as the game goes on.
The upgraded Collectors can add more frames, multiply cash prizes or create extra cash symbols before collecting. Moo-Ighty Zeus can also step in with fixed prizes. At first, only the Mini prize is available at 20x, but the Bovine Path can unlock Major, Mega and Grand prizes at 50x, 100x and 1,000x the bet.
Free Spins trigger with 3 Moolympus scatters and start with 6 free spins. In the regular bonus, Bovine Frames can stay on the grid between spins, but they are removed after a Collector activates them. The Collector types available in the bonus depend on what has already been unlocked through the Bovine Path.
Olympian Spins trigger if one of the 3 triggering scatters is a Super Scatter. This stronger mode also starts with 6 spins, but Bovine Frames remain on the grid for the whole feature, even after a Collector has used them. That makes Olympian Spins clearly better, because the bonus can build a more valuable frame setup instead of constantly starting over.
Neither bonus can be retriggered. That is one of the main things holding the game back. Six spins can end quickly, and with no retrigger safety net, the feature sometimes feels like it leaves the temple just as it was getting started.
Holy Moo! Extreme Power has personality, and that already puts it ahead of many standard mythology slots. The cow-god idea is silly in the right way, and Play’n GO gives the theme enough color and confidence that it does not feel like a lazy joke.
The best part is the Bovine Path. Unlocking stronger Collectors gives the game a little sense of progress, and Bovine Moo-Ment can be satisfying when a decent set of frames finally turns into cash. Olympian Spins is also clearly the better bonus mode, because persistent frames make the whole system feel less fragile.
The problem is the ceiling. A 4,000x max win is not terrible, but for an “Extreme Power” title, it does not exactly shake the barn doors off. The bonuses are short, the build-up can be slow, and the game is often more charming than exciting.
