Keno+ - Demo & Slot Review

Slot review: Keno+

Keno+ sees Pragmatic Play step away from reels completely and turn classic Keno into one of its compact Arcade games. The presentation is clean and deliberately simple: choose your numbers, set the risk and watch the draw. There are no characters, cascading symbols or bonus rounds fighting for attention, so the entire game lives or dies on whether you enjoy the basic tension of waiting to see which numbers appear.

That simplicity is also part of the appeal. Rounds are quick, the rules take seconds to understand and the ability to choose both the number of picks and the difficulty gives you some control over how aggressive each round feels. It is not trying to replace a feature-heavy slot, and viewed as a lightweight numbers game, the format makes much more sense.

Slot features: Keno+

Keno+ uses a 40 number board, from which you select 1–10 numbers before each round. The more of your chosen numbers that match the draw, the larger the payout according to the current paytable. There are four selectable difficulty levels, which change how rewards are distributed rather than changing the basic pick-and-draw format.

The maximum win reaches 1,000x the bet, while the RTP is a strong 97.55%. Published data lists a hit frequency of around 19.68%, or roughly one paying result every 5.08 rounds, and stakes from 0.01 to 250. There are no reels, paylines, Free Spins or traditional slot bonuses here; changing the number of picks and difficulty level is essentially where all of the variation comes from.

Our verdict: Keno+

Keno+ does exactly what it needs to do as a simple Arcade release. The 97.55% RTP is excellent, the 1–10 number selection gives each round a little flexibility and the four difficulty settings allow the same basic game to feel either more restrained or more aggressive.

There is also not much depth beyond that. Once you have chosen your numbers and risk level, the rest is simply watching the draw, and the 1,000x max win is modest compared with modern slots. For players who specifically enjoy Keno, the clean Pragmatic Play version should work perfectly well. For everyone else, there is not enough happening to keep it interesting for long.
