Khonsu Merge Up takes BGaming to ancient Egypt, but thankfully skips the usual polished temples and piles of gold for something much stranger. Khonsu, the moon god, spends his nights protecting travellers from mummies, vampires, werewolves and other creatures in a comic-book version of the desert. The 6×4 grid is surrounded by dark blues, glowing pyramids and exaggerated monsters, giving the familiar Egyptian theme a noticeably different look.
The game itself is built around BGaming’s Merge Up mechanic. Winning symbols disappear, but they also merge into a stronger symbol before the next refill, while Khonsu’s multiplier increases as the sequence continues. Split symbols can then create up to six copies of themselves, and the two Free Spins modes gradually give regular symbols Split or Wild powers. There are quite a few layers here, but almost everything feeds naturally into keeping the same winning sequence alive.
