Nuclear Tumble takes Relax Gaming’s Tumble formula into a post-apocalyptic farm where a muscular bear is somehow still growing enormous vegetables next to piles of radioactive waste. The 6×6 grid sits in the middle of ruined buildings, scrap metal and glowing green sludge, while tomatoes, apples and aubergines have clearly benefited from whatever happened here. It is a strange combination, but the slightly ridiculous wasteland farming theme gives the game plenty of personality.
More importantly, the mechanics fit the setting. Up to 25 Stone Blocks can cover the grid, and winning tumbles gradually smash through them to uncover Cash symbols, Bombs and Bonus symbols. Cash prizes only pay if gravity manages to drag them all the way to the bottom row, which gives long tumble sequences an actual target beyond simply creating another ordinary win. Meltdown Mode and three increasingly powerful Free Spins versions then push the same idea further.
Nuclear Tumble uses a 6×6 grid with 46,656 ways to win. At least three matching regular symbols are needed across consecutive reels from the left. Winning symbols disappear and new ones tumble down, while Stone Blocks directly beside winning positions are destroyed. Wilds can appear on reels 2–6 and substitute for regular paying symbols.
The highest base-game RTP is 96.10%, with a 94.00% configuration also available. Hit frequency is 20.85%, volatility is high and the maximum win reaches 5,000x the bet. International builds support stakes from 0.20 to 200. Regular symbol payouts are intentionally modest, so the real game is about opening the blocked grid, moving Cash symbols down and creating enough tumbles for the special mechanics to take over.
Up to 25 Stone Blocks can cover the grid at the start of a spin. A winning combination removes its symbols and destroys Stone Blocks directly above, below or beside them.
Breaking a block can reveal a Cash symbol, an Exploding Bomb or a Bonus symbol. Cash symbols carry their own prize values but only pay once they reach the bottom row. They also destroy Stone Blocks directly beneath them as they fall.
Exploding Bombs activate once normal tumbles have finished and clear every non-Cash symbol across their entire row and column. The resulting movement can push valuable Cash symbols closer to the bottom.
If every Stone Block is removed during the same sequence, Meltdown Mode activates.
All remaining regular symbols are cleared while Cash symbols stay in place, after which another tumble begins with an increased chance of landing Cash symbols and stronger prize values.
It ties the whole base game together nicely: wins break Stone Blocks, Bombs open more space and a fully excavated grid rewards the effort with one more cash-heavy drop.
Collecting at least 3 Scatters starts the bonus. Standard Free Spins begins with 6 spins, Super Free Spins starts with 8 spins at progression level 2, and Ultra Free Spins gives 10 spins at level 3.
Before starting, the current feature can be gambled for a stronger version, with the risk of losing it completely.
During the bonus, every 4 collected Cash symbols increases the progression level, upgrades the available Cash values and awards +1 spin. Bronze prizes begin as low as 1x, while the strongest Gold Cash symbols can eventually reach 2,500x. Extra Free Spin symbols hidden beneath Stone Blocks can also add another spin.
Nuclear Tumble has a large SuperCharge menu, with standard and Golden versions of several features.
There is an unusually wide range of choices here, but at least every option strengthens the same cash-collection mechanic instead of adding unrelated side games.
Nuclear Tumble gives Relax Gaming’s familiar cascading structure a genuinely good new target. A high-value Cash symbol near the top of the grid immediately gives the tumble sequence some tension because you can see exactly where it needs to go. Stone Blocks, Bombs and Meltdown all help with that same objective, while the Free Spins progression makes every four collected prizes meaningful. The strange radioactive farm also gives the game more personality than another generic Tumble release.
The 5,000x maximum win is fairly modest, and Cash symbols can be frustrating when a valuable one stops just short of the bottom row. The enormous SuperCharge menu also feels excessive. Those complaints aside, the mechanics connect unusually well: almost every win, block and explosion contributes to moving the important symbols in the right direction. It is not Relax Gaming’s biggest Tumble slot, but it is one of the more interesting twists on the format.
