Oxygen 3 - Demo & Slot Review

Oxygen 3 uses a 6 reel, 7 row grid with cluster pays. Wins are formed by connecting 5 or more matching symbols horizontally or vertically. The main RTP is 96%, volatility sits in the high range, the hit frequency is around 33%, the stake range is 0.20 to 100, and the maximum win is 25,000x.

The largest winning clusters are 32+ symbols, paying from 20x to 250x depending on the symbol. The game also uses 2×2, 3×3, and 4×4 big symbols, avalanches, position based Oxygen Bubble multipliers, Multiplier Strike, Clam features, three additional wild types, and two bonus versions. It is a dense mechanic stack, but the structure is still readable once you understand that almost everything feeds the same multiplier grid.

• Basics: Oxygen 3 is played on a 6×7 grid with cluster pays. A win needs 5 or more matching symbols connected horizontally or vertically. After a win is paid, the winning symbols are removed and the grid refills from above through avalanches. Avalanches continue until no new win is formed. The game can also drop 2×2, 3×3, or 4×4 big symbols, and these count as the number of individual positions they cover when forming clusters.
• Oxygen Bubbles: The first time a symbol explodes on an empty position, that position creates an empty Oxygen Bubble. The next time a symbol explodes on a position that already has a bubble, the bubble activates at x1. Every later explosion on that same position doubles the multiplier already there. The bubbles do not fall with gravity, so they stay fixed to their positions while symbols above them keep changing. This is the main payout engine of the game because repeated hits on the same cells can scale quickly through the avalanche chain.
• Multiplier Strike: Multiplier Strike can trigger on any symbol drop in the base game or during bonus drops. When it activates, it places clusters of Oxygen Bubbles with multiplier values already on the grid before the symbol drop. This gives the round a faster start than building bubbles one position at a time and can create a stronger multiplier layout immediately.
• Clam symbol: The Clam is a wild. If a Clam is part of a winning combination, it triggers one of three random Clam features after the win evaluation. These are Squid, Pearl, and Starfish. The Clam is not just a substituting symbol. It is one of the main feature triggers in the game.
• Squid: Squid generates a wild on its current position, then moves to a new position and repeats the process until it leaves the grid. This can leave a trail of wilds behind it and improve the next evaluations in the same sequence.
• Pearl: Pearl triggers after win evaluation but before gravity. It selects one payout symbol type currently on the grid. Every symbol of that selected type becomes sticky, and feature symbols also become sticky, even if they take part in wins. The game then performs redrops as long as more wilds or more symbols of the selected type land, or until the grid is full of selected symbols and or feature symbols. After that, a final win evaluation happens and the sticky symbols are released. Only one Pearl can be present at a time.
• Starfish: Starfish rotates to point in a horizontal, vertical, or diagonal direction, then removes pay symbols along that direction. Any feature symbols hit along that path are activated. At its final position, the Starfish increases the multiplier value, and the sequence repeats until the Starfish finally transforms into a wild. This makes it both a clearing feature and a multiplier enhancer.
• Additional Wilds: Oxygen 3 also has three more wild types besides the Clam.
  • A regular wild substitutes for all regular pay symbols and wild only wins pay the same as the top regular symbol.
  • A Blaster wild activates when part of a win, or when triggered by another Blaster wild, an Exploding wild, or Starfish. It converts all pay symbols in an X or plus-shaped pattern from its position into matching symbols. If a symbol already converted by one blast is hit by another blast, it becomes a wild instead.
  • An Exploding wild activates when part of a win or when triggered by another Exploding wild, a Blaster wild blast, or Starfish. It explodes after wins and removes pay symbols in two cone shaped areas, either up and down or left and right.
• Bonus: Landing 3 bonus scatters triggers the standard bonus and awards 10 free bonus drops. The feature uses an Oxygen Meter that fills with each winning combination. When the meter becomes full, it empties, triggers, and upgrades a cluster of multipliers on the grid. During the bonus, Oxygen Bubbles are persistent between spins, so the position multipliers do not reset after each drop. This is the main upgrade from the base game.
• Super Bonus: If the 3-scatter bonus trigger includes at least one Super Scatter, the game awards the Super Bonus instead of the standard version. It still starts with 10 free bonus drops, still uses a persistent Oxygen Meter, and still keeps Oxygen Bubbles active between drops. The difference is that when the Super Oxygen Meter triggers, it upgrades a large cluster of multipliers instead of a regular cluster, making the bonus much stronger. Meter progress is persistent between drops in both bonus versions. During both bonus versions, landing 2 bonus scatters awards +3 extra drops and landing 3 bonus scatters awards +5 extra drops.

  • Bonus Game costs 100x bet. Direct entry to the standard 10 drop bonus round.
  • Super Bonus costs 250x bet. Direct entry to the Super Bonus.
