Pirots 5 is an ELK Studios slot that drags the loudest parrot crew in gambling back into adventure mode, this time inside a cursed temple full of gems, mummies, traps, secret doors and one very bitter old enemy. After space, dinosaurs and other series detours, the birds have apparently decided that a normal retirement was too boring and tomb raiding sounded healthier.
The game follows the familiar Pirots formula: birds collect gems, the grid changes, feature symbols appear, and the whole thing slowly turns into a puzzle board wearing a slot costume. Captain Blackfeather adds the main villain energy, while the Cursed Temple setting gives the sequel a proper Indiana Jones with feathers mood.
Pirots 5 is played with ELK Studios’ CollectR™ mechanic instead of traditional paylines. The game starts on a 6×6 grid and can expand up to 8×8. Four parrots collect matching gems in their own colours, along with useful feature symbols that appear in their path.
The top RTP is 96%, with lower versions also listed at 94%, 92%, 90% and 87%. The volatility is high, and the hit frequency is 25.1%. The bet range is 0.20-100, and the maximum win is 10,000x the bet.
The game is built around collection, movement and persistent progress. The parrots collect matching gems, the grid can grow as the round develops, and stronger moments come from temple events, Captain Blackfeather and bonus drops that carry some of that progress forward. There is quite a bit going on under the feathers, so let’s open the temple door properly in the features section.
Pirots 5 is a strong sequel and easily one of the more complete entries in the series. ELK Studios clearly knows what makes these games work: the parrots, the gem collection, the upgrades, the weird little board-state moments where a spin suddenly becomes a tactical bird expedition.
The best part is how connected everything feels. The bonus does not simply wipe the table and start fresh, it carries progress forward, which makes the build-up matter. Catacombs, traps, Blackfeather and the Cursed Temple Coin Game all feed into that same sense of movement. It is complicated, yes, but not in a lazy way.
The weaker side is accessibility. Pirots 5 asks more from the player than most slots, and the lower RTP versions are definitely worth checking before playing. The 10,000x max win is strong, but with this much machinery under the hood, some players may expect an even bigger one. Still, the creativity, polish and feature depth make Pirots 5 a great choice.
