Propaganda 2 returns to the dystopian streets of LA11-1 four years after ELK Studios’ original game. The white masks and red uniforms are still everywhere, but the city itself feels much more alive this time, covered in colourful graffiti, flowers and signs of a rebellion that has clearly moved beyond hiding in the shadows. The first Propaganda already had one of ELK’s more memorable settings, and the sequel pushes that style further without losing its identity.
The familiar 6×6 Cluster Pays structure also returns, but almost everything around it has been expanded. Winning clusters create wilds and increase a global multiplier, while Wild Strike, Heart and Mask symbols can trigger additional effects during the same sequence. The new Love Bomb can activate all those feature symbols at once, and both The Drop and two bonus modes give the mechanics much more room to develop. This feels like a genuine sequel rather than simply another version of the same slot.
Propaganda 2 uses a 6×6 grid and Cluster Pays, with at least 5 matching symbols connected horizontally or vertically required for a win. Winning symbols disappear through Avalanches and new ones fall into the empty positions. Every winning symbol also increases the Global Multiplier by +1, while each winning cluster creates a new wild in one of the cleared spaces. Multiple wilds involved in the same cluster can combine their multiplier values into a stronger wild.
The highest RTP is 96.00%, with 94%, 92%, 90% and 87% configurations also reported. Hit frequency is 23.2%, volatility is high and the maximum win reaches 25,000x the bet. International stakes run from 0.20 to 100. Compared with the original game’s 10,000x max, the sequel has considerably more room at the top while keeping the same basic cluster structure.
Every winning cluster starts an Avalanche. The winning symbols disappear, new ones fall into place and the sequence continues for as long as another cluster forms.
Each winning symbol increases the Global Multiplier by +1. Every winning cluster also creates a wild in one of the newly emptied positions. If multiple wilds contribute to the same cluster, their values are added together and transferred into the newly generated wild, allowing multiplier wilds to grow during longer sequences.
Feature symbols activate when they sit next to a winning cluster.
Wild Strike adds 2–5 wilds to the grid before turning into a wild itself. Heart selects one or more paying symbol types and transforms all of them into the same symbol, potentially creating a much larger cluster.
Feature symbols can also carry energy for the Love Bomb. Once enough energy has been collected, the Love Bomb activates every feature symbol on the grid during that game round. Its energy is saved between spins, so the feature is gradually being prepared in the background.
Mask symbols can be activated beside winning clusters and are collected between rounds. 6 Masks trigger The Drop, which begins with 3 spins.
Symbols remain on the grid, and landing anything new resets the counter to three. Upgrade improves all paying symbols to a higher-value type, while Collect gathers an area of symbols into one cluster. Multiplier wilds can strengthen those clusters as well. When The Drop ends, the total value of all clusters on the grid is paid.
3 Bonus symbols trigger 7 Bonus Drops. The Global Multiplier remains persistent between them, while Add Bonus Drop symbols award an extra drop.
If one of the triggering symbols is a Super Bonus symbol, or one appears during the normal Bonus, the feature upgrades to Super Bonus. Two extra drops are added and the Love Bomb stays active throughout, meaning every feature symbol activates automatically.
X-iter offers five paid options:
The menu is expensive at the top end, but every option feeds directly into the same cluster, wild and multiplier system rather than introducing unrelated mechanics.
Propaganda 2 is exactly the kind of sequel the original deserved. ELK keeps the 6×6 Cluster Pays foundation but gives practically every successful cluster something else to work towards. Wild generation, merging multipliers, the growing Global Multiplier and feature symbols all feed into the same chain, while the Love Bomb can suddenly bring everything together at once. The Drop is also a strong addition because it plays differently without feeling disconnected from the rest of the game.
There is a lot happening, and the number of interacting symbols means the first few sessions can be harder to follow than in the original. The 500x Super Bonus purchase is also very expensive. Those are minor drawbacks compared with how well the systems fit together, though. The stronger presentation, 25,000x max win and far deeper feature package make Propaganda 2 a clear improvement over an already good first game.
