Our verdict: Sea of Spirits

Sea of Spirits is one of those slots where the ambition is evident. The theme is strong and immersive, the ghost-pirate underwater aesthetic is well done and atmospheric. The mechanics layer up nicely: the Frames, Activator system and Coin Reveal mode are rich and offer plenty of “build” in the gameplay, which rewards patience and strategy. The top win of 25,000x is attractive for high-vol players, and the inclusion of Feature Buy options allows players to jump straight into the action.

The base game may feel slow or repetitive while waiting for the key features to land. Also, many of the core mechanics (Frames, reveal, etc) are variations on existing Push Gaming formulas, so if you’re very familiar with their library you might find it less novel.
