Steamin' Reels feels like a slot that knows exactly what kind of player it wants. The numbers are decent, the RTP is fine, and the bonus mechanic does have enough going on to create some stronger moments once the train gets rolling.

On the downside, the presentation feels dated, the base game is thin, and too much of the experience depends on reaching one feature that does not feel unique enough to fully carry the slot.
