Tower Run Treasure Steps follows Bob, an enthusiastic but rather inexperienced adventurer climbing a monster-filled tower in search of treasure. Play’n GO builds the game around a 5×5 grid surrounded by suspended walkways, glowing portals and strange creatures, while Bob’s progress continues above the reels. The fantasy setting is familiar, but the slightly goofy hero gives it more personality than another completely serious dungeon crawl.
The more interesting part is how the game runs two progression systems at the same time. Cascading wins fill the Win-O-Meter of Destiny during a single spin, unlocking Wilds, multipliers and eventually the Treasure Room. Bob’s Ascent works more slowly in the background and saves progress between spins. Neither idea is especially complicated, but together they make the base game feel as though something is almost always moving forward.
