What Is Hype.Bet?

Hype.Bet is an international casino operated by BlackSands B.V., a company registered in Curaçao holding a licence from the Curaçao Gaming Authority (CGA), number OGL/2024/985/0430. Group play isn’t a side feature here, it’s built into the core product through the Multiplayer Rooms.

Joining Your First Group Play Session

What Is a Multiplayer Room?

A host opens a virtual room that hundreds of players can join at once, and you don’t have to be a well-known streamer to run one yourself. The host controls the actual gameplay, but the room runs on a shared pool everyone contributes to. Players can join or leave at any point during the session, not just at the start. On every single bet the host places, each player either wins or loses money based on their exact share of that pool at that moment.

Setting up your own room

You don’t have to be one of the casino’s own hosts to run a room, anyone can create one. Here’s what you’ll need to set up:

• Language. This is what shows up on the homepage and in your room’s description, and you can change it later from the Room Bio tab. Available languages are
  • English
  • German
  • Spanish
  • French
  • Portuguese
  • Russian
  • Finnish.
• Room Currency. Whatever currency you pick is what the games will run in for the entire session, and it can’t be changed once the room has started. You can choose between:
  • Euro
  • Canadian Dollar
  • US Dollar.
• Title. Also shown on the homepage and in the room description, this is how other players will spot your room in the list.
• Privacy Settings. You can add password protection to your room.

How the Room Balance and Shares Actually Work

Every room has a combined balance made up of every participant’s contribution. The host uses that shared pool to play whatever’s showing on screen.

At any point, you can:

• Add more funds to the Room Balance to increase your share
• Pull funds out to reduce your share. Withdrawing from the Room Balance sends the money straight back to your own Hype.Bet account

On the left, you’ll see your share shown both in euros and as a percentage of the total Room Balance. When the host places a bet, every player contributes exactly their percentage share of it, and receives that same percentage of whatever it returns.

Example: if your share of the room is 10%, and the host wins €10,000 off a €1 stake, your cut of that win is €1,000.

It cuts both ways too. If the host spends €100 on a bonus buy and it pays out nothing, you lose €10.

The “Players” tab on the left sidebar shows a live ranking of everyone in the room, their balances, and their percentage shares. The “My Bets” tab holds your own transaction history and the details behind every bet placed in the room.

Minimum Amount to Join a Room

There’s no fixed minimum to contribute to a room. The host sets their own bet size, but your own share of the pool can be as small or as large as you want. You can join with as little as €0.10, or contribute nothing at all and just watch what unfolds.

Follow, Tip, and Join the Chat

Group play on Hype.Bet is built to feel like a genuine community experience:

• Follow your favourite streamer directly from the room with the “Follow” button, so you never miss the next session
• Tip the host if you want to show appreciation for the content or a lucky run, and hosts can tip players back too
  • The minimum tip amount is €0.85
• Chat stays open on the right side of the room the whole time, and when you join as a logged-in viewer or player, everyone sees a “[your name] joined” notification pop up
• You can take part in the chat even if you’re not contributing financially at all
