Aftermath starts on a 4×6 grid that can expand to 6 reels and 8 rows. Scatter Pays wins need at least 8 matching symbols anywhere on the grid. The RTP is 96.05%, hit frequency 22%, and the maximum win reaches 25,000x the bet. Bets range from 0.20 to 40.

Winning symbols disappear and new ones fall into the empty spaces, while the active multiplier grows by +1x with every consecutive win. Bomb, Upgrade, Change and Purge symbols can reshape the grid in different ways, and Bonus Spins make both the multiplier and expanded grid persistent. Super Bonus Spins add stronger multiplier Wilds on top.

Falling symbols and multiplier

Every Scatter Pays win removes the winning symbols and drops new ones in. If another group of 8 or more matching symbols forms, the chain continues without another bet. Each extra win also increases the global multiplier by +1x, so a long sequence can build into something much more interesting than the first hit.

The grid can also grow from 4×6 to a full 6×8, with certain features breaking open locked positions around the edges. In the base game, the multiplier resets once the whole winning sequence ends.

Special symbols

Aftermath has 4 special symbols, and each one messes with the grid differently. Bomb destroys nearby regular symbols, can break open locked positions and doubles the active multiplier. Multiple Bombs can double it again, so one decent chain can get out of hand pretty quickly.

Upgrade turns weaker symbols into higher-paying ones, Change converts nearby symbols into the same type, and Purge clears weaker symbols and wall sections to make room for fresh drops. The nice part is that all of this can happen in the base game, so you are not just sitting around waiting for the bonus.

Bonus Spins

3, 4 or 5 Scatters award 8, 10 or 12 Bonus Spins. During the bonus, both the current multiplier and any unlocked grid positions stay active between spins. Special Wilds can also appear and add +2 to the multiplier, while every new Scatter gives 3 extra spins.

A Super Scatter upgrades the feature into Super Bonus Spins. Here, every spin guarantees at least one Special Wild with a random +3 to +10 multiplier, and those Wilds stay around through the falling-symbol sequence. A Super Scatter can also upgrade regular Bonus Spins halfway through the feature.

Elevate Feature Buy

The Elevate menu mixes cheaper boosted spins with direct bonus purchases, so there are a few different ways to speed things up.

• Scatter Hunt costs 5x: makes Bonus Spins and Super Bonus Spins around 7 times more likely to trigger.
• Feature Hunt costs 10x: guarantees at least one special feature.
• Power Boost costs 25x: starts the spin with a random 5x–10x multiplier.
• Bonus Spins costs 100x: triggers the regular Bonus Spins feature.
• Aftermath Spins costs 500x: triggers Super Bonus Spins with a Super Scatter included.

The cheaper options are actually pretty useful here, because they let you see more of the base-game mechanics without immediately throwing hundreds of bets at the bonus menu.
