Slot review: Ted Stuffed & Loaded

Ted Stuffed & Loaded brings Blueprint Gaming back to Seth MacFarlane’s foul-mouthed teddy bear, this time with enough features to make Ted Megaways look fairly restrained. The 5×4 grid sits inside Ted’s familiar apartment, surrounded by beer, neon lights and three bonus coolers. The movie licence still does most of the work visually, but the game leans much harder into Blueprint’s own progressive collect mechanics than the previous Ted slots.

The main attraction is a persistent trail above the reels. Every Ted Collect symbol advances it, gradually unlocking stronger Collect versions, the Reel of Fortune and finally the Ted-O-Meter. Progress carries over instead of resetting after every session, so the game is clearly designed to reward repeated play. Add three separate bonus rounds, random Thunder Buddies modifiers and a final Big Money feature, and Stuffed & Loaded certainly lives up to the second half of its name.

Slot overview: Ted Stuffed & Loaded

Ted Stuffed & Loaded uses 5 reels, 4 rows and 20 fixed paylines, with wins starting from the leftmost reel. Wilds appear on reels 2–5, while Ted acts as the Collect symbol on reels 1 and 5. Cash symbols can carry 0.5x–15x values, alongside fixed Mini, Minor, Major and Grand prizes worth 20x, 50x, 200x and 1,000x.

The highest RTP is 94.00%, with a 92% version also available. Volatility is medium, hit frequency is 20% and the maximum win reaches 10,000x the bet. Stakes run from 0.10 to 100. Those numbers are fairly ordinary, and the 94% RTP is particularly hard to ignore in 2026. Most of the appeal therefore comes from unlocking more features over time rather than from the base-game maths itself.

Slot features: Ted Stuffed & Loaded

Cash Collect and The Unlock Trail

Landing Ted on reel 1 or 5 together with Cash symbols collects every visible value. Each Collect symbol also advances the permanent trail above the reels, unlocking stronger versions at 2, 5, 8, 12, 16 and 20 Collects.

Early upgrades add sticky respins, an entire reel of Cash symbols, doubled Cash values and a psychedelic modifier that can create or boost more prizes. At 16 Collects you unlock Reel of Fortune, which can award 5x–1,000x, while 20 unlocks the Ted-O-Meter.

Three Bonus Games

Red, green and blue beer Scatters each connect to their own feature. One or two can trigger it randomly, while three guarantee the corresponding bonus. Several bonuses can also trigger from the same spin.

Top Shelf gives 10 spins and adds a Prize Pyramid with upgrades such as extra spins, stronger Collect symbols and up to 40 paylines.

Bear Bucks is a 3-respin Hold & Win style feature. Cash symbols stay locked, new hits reset the counter and Golden Ted symbols can expand the grid from 5×4 to 5×7, boost values or add more Cash symbols.

Mellow Spins gives 10 spins and uses a moving collection zone. Only prizes landing inside that area count, but Special Scatters can enlarge the zone and award more spins.

Ted-O-Meter and Big Money

Once the Ted-O-Meter has been unlocked, Bubble symbols can fill it and potentially trigger the Wheel of Mystery. Its outcomes include Collect wins, Reel of Fortune, one or more bonus games, fixed cash prizes and the Big Money Bonus.

Big Money itself is a simple pick feature. You open safes to reveal Cash prizes until a Collect symbol appears, at which point the accumulated total is paid.

Our verdict: Ted Stuffed & Loaded

Ted Stuffed & Loaded has some genuinely good ideas, but it feels like Blueprint Gaming tried to squeeze almost every collect mechanic it knows into the same slot. The permanent unlock trail is easily the best part, because each milestone actually changes how Ted collects Cash symbols. Bear Bucks and Mellow Spins also play differently enough that the three bonus rounds do not feel like simple variations of one feature.

The problem is that there is almost too much layered on top of a fairly weak base game. The normal reels are plain, most Cash symbols do nothing without Ted and the best features require a long progression before they even become available. The 94% RTP makes that grind harder to justify. Ted fans will find plenty to unlock, but as a standalone slot it is more complicated than it needs to be and not quite rewarding enough to match the effort.
