Wild: The standard Wild substitutes for all regular paying symbols except the Scatter. It also pays directly, with 3, 4, and 5 Wilds worth 3x, 15x, and 40x.
Wild Commander: The three commander symbols are tied to a tumble meter. Power Up: Commander symbols also have a separate Power Up system tied to how many commanders have been removed by tumbles. Commanders become powered up after 3 removed commanders, then powered up twice after 6 removed commanders. Powered up commander is semi sticky and loses one power stage on a tumble instead of being removed immediately. Once all power stages are gone, it behaves like a normal commander again.
Bonus Game: The Fireball is Scatter and triggers Bonus Game when 3 of them land. The standard Bonus Game starts with 10 free spins and a x1 win multiplier. During this version, both the Power Up meter and the Wild Commander meter reset between each free spin, so it is the weakest and least persistent bonus mode.
Super Bonus Game: The Super Bonus Game is triggered by 4 Scatters and it starts with 10 free spins and a x2 win multiplier. In this mode, the Power Up progression carries over between spins, but the Wild Commander meter still resets each spin. Our verdict: Gloria Invicta

Gloria Invicta is a decent extreme volatility Quickspin release because the feature structure has more substance than the presentation suggests. The best part is the Wild Commanders, and Power Up stages are all tied together, then pushed further by the three tier bonus ladder. The weakness is that the game can feel a bit mechanical and heavy compared with Quickspin’s stronger titles, and the Roman war theme does not do much to elevate it. Even so, the numbers are solid, the bonus modes differ in a meaningful way, and the Ultra Bonus is strong enough to give the slot a proper end goal.
