Nunchucks - Demo & Slot Review

Nunchucks uses 6 reels, 4 rows and 4,096 ways to win. Regular combinations form across adjacent reels from left to right, while wilds substitute for standard paying symbols. Four different Nun symbols act as feature triggers, and landing one can activate its effect before starting a respin. Several Nun Features can remain active during the same respin sequence, so a single round can gradually become much stronger as new nuns arrive.

The highest RTP is 96.21%, with 94.04% and 92.04% configurations also available. Hit frequency is 28.00%, the maximum win reaches 12,000x the bet, and stakes range from 0.20 to 40. NetEnt officially classifies the game as high volatility.

Colossal Nun & Wild Reel Nun

Colossal Nun creates a Colossal Mystery symbol covering between 2×2 and 4×4 positions. Once resolved, it transforms into a regular paying symbol. If the Colossal block overlaps a Wild Reel, however, it becomes a Giant Wild covering the entire area.

Wild Reel Nun turns the reel on which she lands completely wild. Additional Wild Reel Nuns can convert more reels during the same sequence, making it possible to build a much stronger setup before the respins end.

Multiplier Nun & Upgrade Nun

Multiplier Nun adds multipliers to one or more reels. If a win passes through several multiplier reels, their values are added together and applied to the payout.

Upgrade Nun strengthens whatever Nun Features are already active. A Colossal Mystery can grow one size larger, more Wild Reels can be added and active reel multipliers can be doubled. Several Upgrade Nuns during the same sequence can therefore make an already good setup considerably stronger.

Bonus Spins & Super Bonus Spins

Landing 3, 4, 5 or 6 Bonus symbols gives 8, 10, 12 or 14 Bonus Spins.

In regular Bonus Spins, any Nun Features activated during a spin remain active throughout that spin’s respin sequence, but reset before the next Bonus Spin.

If at least one triggering symbol is a Super Bonus, the feature becomes Super Bonus Spins. Here the difference is substantial: activated Colossal symbols, Wild Reels and reel multipliers remain in place between spins and continue developing throughout the whole bonus.

Feature Buy (Elevate)

Five paid options are available in supported markets.

• Bonus Hunt costs 3x the normal bet per spin and increases the chance of triggering special features.
• Guaranteed Nun costs 25x and guarantees at least one Nun symbol.
• Bonus Spins costs 100x and guarantees the regular bonus, with a chance of Super Bonus Spins.
• Super Bonus Spins costs 300x and guarantees the stronger bonus together with at least one Nun.
• Super Nun Spin costs 500x and guarantees a Nun while heavily increasing the chance of Bonus or Super Bonus Spins.

The menu is expensive at the top end, but each option simply gives stronger access to the same Nun Feature system rather than adding unrelated mechanics.
